Mrs. Mitchell will be at the 6th grade celebration today, so I'll be a little bit less available. Luckily, you've got a relaxed day ahead of you! Enjoy your day!
Office Hours: 1 - 2 6 - 7:30 It's the last week of school! I can't believe we are actually here! There is no math, reading, or spelling this week. But, there will be some fun Mystery Dougs, a field day, and a slide show sneaking in there this week. Have a great week, Terrific Turtles! Office Hours: 8 - 9 1 - 2 6 - 7:30 Today is your last math activity! What better way to wrap up our math learning this year than with a game. Which game will you choose today? Today we start our whale research! I created a video to help you find the information quickly within the website I left. Which whale will you choose? Will you dare to use the whale wheel?
Today's snack chat, bring your stuffies! What is your favorite stuffed animal? I can't wait to see you guys. This is our second to last snack chat together. These last few weeks are going to go by so quickly. Today is the first read for fun day. There isn't an "assignment" just a check in that you read at least for a little bit of today. Reading doesn't have to be a chapter book (although those are great choices). It could be a magazine, a blog on the computer, an ebook, or even directions to a recipe or a game! You just want to keep your brain working and learning new words. Today is the last live math practice of the year! Will you join us?
Office Hours:
8 - 9 1 - 2 6 - 7:30 The mathematical day is upon us... time to learn traditional multiplication! You didn't think I'd like you escape into summer vacation bliss without putting some meaning behind all of that fact practice and virtual math baseball?? Give it a try! It's something new, but it uses a lot of math patterns you're already familiar with. If you aren't there yet, that's okay! It's something you will work a lot on in fourth grade. If your brain feels like that skill is just right, give your brain a little pat, you should be very proud! There are no reading assignments this week, however you do still need to actually read. I just won't quiz you on it! 😉 I'm so excited to see which whales you pick this week. There are so many that I created a whale wheel of chance! Spin the wheel if you are feeling lucky.
