Hello Terrific Turtles (and family)! Mrs. Erving and I hope you had an amazing weekend. We've got a lot planned for you this week. We will slowly be adding to your learning. This week you will have lots of science activities and challenges. You'll also have some social studies activities mixed into your week. Mrs. Erving helped me test out our first Science activity. But, mother nature pulled a fast one on me and apparently it's supposed to snow today! If you didn't get out fast enough to beat the snow and complete a few of these, that's okay! I'll extend the deadline. If you send a picture in, you'll be include in our Friday show and share. Each week we'll have a challenge or prompt that you can take a picture of. If your parents are comfortable emailing me a picture, you will be included on our Friday post. The integrated arts team has added new activities for week 2 of remote learning. I have updated those links on the Helpful Links page to include their entire site, not just the weekly activities. Something new this week: you can check in and mark yourself complete. Physical Education, Gym, and Music have an "attendance" area where you can let your specials teacher know that you've completed their assignment.
Over the week I will also highlight some of the subscriptions your student has access to through the school. They are all optional, but great learning tools or opportunities for enrichment if you have down time. As I highlight them, I will create an easy to find link on the Helpful Links page. Too curious to wait? Just check out the library links that can already found on that page. -Mrs. Mitchell Office Hours: 9-10:30 6-7:30 Assignments: ELA Weekend Writing Prompt You hear Mrs. Erving, tell us about your weekend!
