Hello!
I was so impressed with the detail in your answers for the story yesterday. You can up with so many other ways to fly: hot air balloons, flying squirrel suits, hang gliders, parachutes, and more! Way to go. Today, your story is a tad longer. Currently, if you try to read it on mobile, it won't work and will give you an error. It does work on laptops, though! If you need to use a mobile, reach out to me and I will problem solve with you. Math is jumping to subtraction practice today! Remember, even though it is math, your assignment (and all future assignments as we add science, social studies, and more) will be found on the to-do list on the Wonders side of ConnectEd. Unfortunately, EverdayMath does not let me assign work like Wonders does. But, there is tons to explore on the EverydayMath side of ConnectEd! You will see assignments sending you over there to visit for games. But there are also virtual decks of cards, dice, math manipulatives, clocks, unit cubes, and more! Want some tips on how to get more out of that EverdayMath side? Feel free to reach out via email. Or curious about what lesson we would have been doing together, go explore and click on today's lesson! I love hearing from the students and Mrs. Erving and I miss them terribly. Right now, I can respond to them but they can't respond back to my comment. I am working on a school approved way students could chat with me or Mrs. Erving if they wanted to. This could be for help, or to tell me something fun they are working on just like during snack or recess. Stay tuned as I try to problem solve that! As always, reach out if you need anything. I have office hours to let you know when I'm specifically on my laptop responding to students and can get back immediately. But honestly, my email goes straight to my phone so I can almost always get back to you right away. Thank you for all you are doing at home. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Office Hours: 9:30 - 11:00 6:00 - 7:30 ELA: Read or listen to Hot Air Balloons on the Wonders side of ConnectEd. Answer the following question in the Note to Teacher box: What causes a balloon to rise in the air? Reread page 351 to find the answer. Remember to use a complete sentence and text evidence! Math Please complete the attached problems found on the Wonder's To-Do list. Make sure to show your work and explain your thinking to an adult at home. In the “Note to Teacher” box below, tell us how you did!
