I am so impressed with the chefs in this class! Everyone was cooking up a storm yesterday. Some friends make breakfast with sausage and hash browns. Others ate lots of yummy fruits and veggies for snacks, like steaming green beans or eating apples and oranges. I was blown away that some friends even made soup! I've got you movin' and grovin' again today. hat leads me to my next enrichment shout out! Go Noodle! We do this all the time in class but you can also do Go Noodle at home. In fact, I know some of you already do. That Creative Connection today is to do an exercise or a dance. I'm going to introduce Anna to the Zumba one, he just always makes me smile. If you don't want to use Go Noodle, find a fun video to dance to on YouTube or pick an exercise and see how many you can do! I miss hearing everyone's voices! Parents, be on the lookout for a sign-up to have a weekly check-in with your teacher. If you think your student would benefit for chatting, I would love to set aside a time at least once a week to do that. I know not every student might want this, which is why I'm going to set up a sign-up. I am hoping to have a dedicated day every week for the students that want to check-in. We can talk about what they did over the weekend, the book their reading, or I can walk them through a tricky assignment. However, I am always available if they need to be walked through something. If you email me with a number that works, know that I am willing to call and help! So, be on the lookout for that email today if it is something your family is interested in getting started :) Office Hours: 9:30 - 10:30 6:00 - 7:30 ELA Read the story or listen to the story: The Winningest Woman of the Iditarod Dog Sled Race.
